U-CyTech’s cytokine immunoassays, e.g. human IFN-γ ELISA and human IFN-γ ELISPOT, are extensively used in different areas of research. Currently, we developed a novel highly sensitive immunoassay to measure autoantibodies to human IFN-γ (IFAAs) in serum or plasma. IFAAs can be found in the circulation of healthy individuals, but significantly higher levels are detected in patients with certain infectious diseases. U-CyTech has developed a highly sensitive immuno-enzymatic capture assay for the quantitative determination of IFAAs in human serum and (heparin) plasma. The performance of the test is easy and straightforward and therefore simple to implement in the laboratory. The assay is based on a method that preserves the native conformation of the IFN-γ molecule and avoids steric hindrance of antibody binding. In addition, the test includes an internal negative control for each sample analysis, thereby minimizing the chance on false positivity. Overall, the Human IFN-γ Autoantibody Assay is a unique assay allowing you to measure IFAAs in a rapid, sensitive and reproducible way.
